Among the most anticipated hotels opening in 2023 is the Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, which debuts in January but is already accepting reservations. The extravagant Jenga-style resort will have 795 rooms, 17 restaurants and views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island. Those who book a stay in one of the 44 luxury suites or signature penthouses will have a private infinity pool as well as access to personal butler service. If that’s not enough to make guests sleep easier, the hotel will offer a pillow menu.
rimowa
It’s been a few years since LeBron James has popped a Champagne cork to celebrate an NBA championship, but that doesn’t stop the King from enjoying his wine. Now he—and you—can do that on the road. James, a longtime friend of the Rimowa brand (and a former ambassador), worked with the German luxury luggage maker to create a new wine suitcase based on one from its archives. Rimowa’s 12-bottle case ($9,900) will be available later this month and is housed in the brand’s signature grooved aluminum shell. The cushioned inserts can also be removed so travelers can use it to pack other essentials—like clothes.

With the holiday travel season almost here, uncertainty is causing a rise in travel insurance. To keep rates affordable, remember that a policy doesn’t cover every scenario. Here’s what you need to understand about travel insurance.
lit
“When people travel, I think the first thought they have about exercise is, ‘What machines will be available where I'm going?’” says Justin Norris, co-founder of LIT, a portable, fully connected resistance-based fitness system. “You do not need a machine for a full fitness experience. You need metrics.” Backed by Jay-Z, Rachel Zoe and several professional athletes, LIT Axis is the first data-driven training program that fits in a carry-on. You get more than 350 exercises—Pilates, cardio, recovery, and more—with live and on-demand low-impact fitness classes, and no electricity or WiFi required.
